A couple recently came to Bright Hope for an ultrasound. As first-time parents who speak Arabic, they arrived understandably nervous about the appointment and what to expect.
During their visit, our client advocate and medical staff worked together to ensure clear communication, using a translation app to share information, answer questions, and walk them through the ultrasound experience. As the appointment continued, the couple became more comfortable and engaged, taking in the images and learning about their pregnancy.
Support didn’t stop when the appointment ended. Since their initial visit, they’ve stayed connected through our secure texting platform, allowing them to ask questions and receive ongoing support from our medical team.
At Bright Hope, we are committed to providing accessible, compassionate care to every woman and family we serve — regardless of language, background, or circumstances.
